Farewell Valorie

woman in stable

A sincere farewell goes out to Program Director Valorie Bronstone, her husband Adam and Califa as they move together with their other horses and animals to North Carolina.

The year and a half and all that Valorie has provided in the further development and success of our program in this very short time will never be forgotten. Her leadership, dedication, genuine, gentle and strong character will remain within us as our amazing program staff and volunteer team begin our 15th year of school programming and some exciting new initiatives.

Valorie and her husband also provided Urban Stable with the best home and horses our program has ever had over this past year and will continue to have as it will remain our program home. What they both did together to create this wonderful home, all with our program’s specific needs in mind will also never be forgotten.

We will miss them deeply and will be forever grateful for the time they were with us and all that they did for Urban Stable.  We wish them all the best as they settle in North Carolina and we will keep in touch.

Manitoba Marathon Supports Urban Stable

Urban Stable was a Manitoba Marathon Charity Partner this year and we would like to thank:

  • Eleanor & Paddy McLellan for making the donation to cover the fees to be a partner
  • Our 20+ volunteers that came out on June 21st early in the morning until past noon to hand out popsicles to all the participants of the marathon.
  • MB Marathon and CJOB for providing a platform to create more awareness of our charity

Great Staff – New Positions

Congratulations to Hayley and Carla in taking on their new roles as Program Director and Head Instructor in September. We have had a great start to our school program year and are very excited about implementing various new initiatives throughout this year.
